How to Install
Download the installer from one of the links below, run it, and follow the instructions.
NOTE: You might encounter a security warning when downloading or installing the file. If a warning pops up, please check the publisher details to confirm it says "FREE COLORS, LTD." (ensuring the file hasn't been altered by a third party), and then continue with the download and execution.
If you see a different publisher name or "unknown publisher", the file may have been tampered with and may contain malware, so do not proceed with the installation, and please report it to the author.
Download the Latest Version
The latest version of JoyToKey can be downloaded from the following links:
(Advanced users only) If you prefer the ZIP file format, download the ZIP archive below, unzip it into any folder where you have write permission, and then run JoyToKey.exe.
NOTE: Because the code-signing certificate was changed in version 7.4, you might encounter a security warning when downloading or installing the file during the transition period. If you have trouble downloading the file from the above links, you can temporarily download a version signed with the old certificate:
- Download JoyToKey installer (old code signing certificate)
- Download JoyToKey as ZIP archive (old code signing certificate)
If you have trouble displaying Unicode arrow characters (such as "←") on your PC, here is an alternative build that uses only ASCII characters (e.g. "LEFT" instead of "←").
