XBox silver guide button

In case XBox button (silver guide button) is not recognized as Button 13 in JoyToKey, the button may be configured as a shortcut to open a Game bar.

If you want to use XBox button in JoyToKey and if you don’t use Game bar, please try the following steps:

  1. press Win+G or Xbox button to open Game bar (choose “Yes, this is a game.”)
  2. Open the settings (cog icon) on Game bar and uncheck “Open Game bar using [Xbox logo] on a controller”
  3. Uncheck “Remember this as a game” and Game bar should close

Analog input for left/right triggers

Left/right triggers can be used as analog input, so if you want to distinguish the input level (e.g. weak trigger input v.s. full trigger input), please configure them as Axis 5. In order to configure Axis 5, go to “Options” tab and select “Show all axes (8 way + POV x4)” view. Then,

  • Axis 5 < corresponds to the right trigger
  • Axis 5 > corresponds to the left trigger
